TEXAS invites the deaf community and their family to join us on July 29th!

Come join us for a special evening with the deaf communities and their families for the 56th season in the Palo Duro Canyon. There will be different interpreters around the stage for the best experience.

See the show at a special rate with code TXDC22 and select the Center Section rows D-H! Dinner and show must by purchased by July 27th.

Cost will be $45 adult/$30.50 for children with the BBQ dinner or $26.5 adults/17.50 children for the show.

Additional discounts do not apply such as military, senior or WTAMU. Excludes VIP. Valid for special performance only. Dinner must be purchased at time of show tickets and promo code entered. For questions please email prior to purchase.

Schedule of Events

5:45 PM - Arrive at the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon State Park and head down to the Pioneer Amphitheatre. Upon arrival, please send the group leader to our box office to let us know you have arrived.

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Included Backstage Tour done by the interpretation staff.

5:45 PM - 7:45 PM - Head up to our dinner pavilion and enjoy our Chuck Wagon BBQ. The three meat BBQ of pulled pork, sausage, and brisket, comes with sides of coleslaw, potato salad, beans, ice tea or lemonade, and a delicious cobbler for dessert.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Still have some extra time before the show starts? Visit our gift shop or dance while a live band plays. Sit and enjoy listening to stories told by our very own Quanah Parker (Benny Tahmahkera). Benny is the great-great-grandson of Quanah Parker.

7:35 PM – Early wheelchair accessible is open to the public.

7:45 PM - The doors to the show for the general public open.

8:15 PM - “TEXAS” begins with the rider on the rim waving the Texas flag on top of the canyon wall.

10:45 PM – Show ends. Load up and head out. Have a safe trip!
