Booking groups for summer of 2020
Refund Policy: Refunds can be offered for individual purchases up until two days before the show. Refunds can be offered for groups (15+) up to seven days before the show.There will be a $25 cancellation fee applied.
Rain Policy: Texas will perform rain or shine; if weather gets to severe or dangerous the show will be held for the storm to pass. If the show is cancelled before intermission the box office will issue rain checks. If it is after intermission NO rain checks will be issued.
TEXAS Outdoor Musical is a great opportunity to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, a family reunion and more. Groups with 15+ reservations receive a discounted rate for the show, dinner and backstage tours (along with other perks!)

Backstage Tours are available for all group patrons for $3 each ($5 otherwise).
“TEXAS” souvenir programs are available for all group patrons for $5 each ($10 otherwise). Programs will be available upon arrival at the amphitheater, and will be distributed to the group leader.
State Park entry for all group vehicles is included in your group’s ticket purchase and groups may enter the park starting at 4pm.
Groups of 15-49 will receive two free show tickets and two free dinner tickets (if the group is eating dinner) as well as an additional ticket for the professional coach/bus driver and the licensed tour group leader (for tour groups).
Groups of 50-99 will receive four free show tickets and four free dinner tickets (if the group is eating dinner) as well as an additional ticket for the professional coach/bus driver and the licensed tour group leader (for tour groups).
Groups of 100-199 will receive six free show tickets and six free dinner tickets (if the group is eating dinner) as well as as an additional ticket for the professional coach/bus driver and the licensed tour group leader (for tour groups).
Complimentary “Step-On Tours” are available starting at 6:00pm for groups with busses; but must be scheduled prior to your arrival.
Groups receive discount tickets to Panhandle Plains Historical Museum.
6:00pm- Arrive at the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon State Park and head down to the Pioneer Amphitheatre. Upon arrival, please send the group leader to our box office to let us know you have arrived.
6:00pm (anytime) - Take your “Step On Tour”! We recommend this tour first. A member of our hospitality staff will jump on your bus and give your group a guided tour of the majestic Palo Duro Canyon. Tours usually take 20 to 30 minutes.
6:00pm-7:15pm (anytime)- Time for the Back Stage Tour! Get ready for a behind the scenes look at how TEXAS is produced. Tours last 20-30 minutes and can be done any time during this period. Patrons will learn how cast and crew work daily. If you’re lucky, you might even get to see the stars of the show before it starts!
6:00pm-8:00pm (anytime) Head up to our dinner pavilion and enjoy our Chuck Wagon BBQ. The three meat BBQ of pulled pork, sausage, and brisket, comes with sides of coleslaw, potato salad, beans, ice tea or lemonade, and a delicious cobbler for dessert.
6:00pm-8:00pm - Still have some extra time before the show starts? Visit our gift shop or dance while a live band plays. Sit and enjoy listening to stories told by our very own Quanah Parker (Benny Tahmahkera). Benny is the great great grandson of Quanah Parker.
7:50pm – Early wheelchair accessible is open to the public.
8:00pm- The doors to the show for the general public open.
8:30pm- “TEXAS” begins with the rider on the rim waving the Texas flag on top of the canyon wall.
10:45pm – Show ends. Load up and head out. Have a safe trip
