Where is the Pioneer Amphitheatre Located?
At the base of Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The first entrance on your right when you reach the bottom of the canyon.

Where can we stay?
For lodging, we recommend you visit Canyon Chamber of Commerce or Visit Amarillo.

What time does the show start?
Show starts at 8:00 PM.

What are the prices?
Depending on section, prices range from $15 - $65. Discounts for Seniors, Military, Children 3-12 and Buff ID.

Where do I pick up my VIP packet?
After you show your ticket to the VIP Parking attendant, please visit the Box Office to receive your VIP tote bag full of goodies.

Is there a meal?
The BBQ meal is not available for purchase the night of the show. Deadline for catering is by 4:00 PM the day BEFORE a show. There is a concessions area and such items as BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs and chips can be purchased.

What if it rains?
TEXAS Outdoor Musical performs ‘RAIN OR SHINE'. TEXAS will only offer rain checks if the show is cancelled before intermission. The show may be put on hold for rain and may resume at any time. Only after a public announcement at the show is made of cancellations, will rain checks be offered.

Are there tickets available the night of the show?
Tickets are typically available nightly for the show at the window. Some limited seats may not be available on special events or weekends.

Are animals allowed?
We love animals! They are in our show. Only service animals are allowed with the proper papers. Be prepared to show papers if asked.

What else comes with the show?
Visit the gift shop or dance while a live band plays before the show. Sit and enjoy listening to stories told by our very own Quanah Parker (Benny Tahmahkera). Benny is the great-great-grandson of Quanah Parker.

Do you have wheelchair accessible seating?
Yes, we do. We have wheelchairs that can be used at no charge. Plenty of handicap parking.

Where can I purchase the BBQ Dinner?
BBQ Dinners and Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum tickets can be purchased after show tickets are picked in your transaction. If you decide to buy dinners after you have purchased tickets, please call 806-651-2181 to add those dinners to your order. We cannot wait to welcome you to TEXAS!

Dinner must be ordered by 4:00 PM the day BEFORE your show date.
