2022 Summer Employment

Texas is looking for self motivated, dependable and engaged individuals for its 2022 summer season. All candidates must be able to work the entire summer season and care strongly about patron impact and experience. Show runs June 2, 2022 and after the strike of set and grounds on August 13th, 2022. Periodic scheduled afternoon training will begin May 9th, 2022. Some box office staff will begin sooner with preseason duties. All Pioneer Amphitheatre employees must be able to stand for long periods of time a variety of weather and provide the best customer experience possible.

All positions are seasonal/full and part-time positions. Some positions may be interchangeable with other stations depending on needs.

Front of House Associate (In the Palo Duro Canyon)

$10 per hour

Tuesday - Saturday

Evenings starting at 5:00 PM

All Front of House Associates will be performing rotating roles during the season. Duties include setting up patron's areas, greeting patrons and seeking customer interaction. Others duties include ushering, selling programs/concessions, guiding cards to appropriate parking areas and transporting guests from the parking lot. Light cleaning duties will be assigned. Occasional heavy lifting. Some Front of House positions have the opportunity to auction to conduct scripted backstage tours. Must have a valid driver's license.

Gift Shop Associate (In the Palo Duro Canyon)

$10 per hour

Tuesday - Saturday

Evenings starting at 5:15 PM

Duties include preparing cash registers for sales, entering stock, selling concessions, and restocking of merchandise. Light cleaning duties assigned. Occasional heavy lifting.

Box Office/Gift Shop Associate (In the Palo Duro Canyon)

$10 per hour

Tuesday - Saturday

Evenings starting at 5:15 PM

Duties include preparing VIP packets, distributing will call tickets, ticket purchase/exchanges and reprinting ticket requests. Experience with computer software including Word and Microsoft Teams is preferred. Following the shut down and lock up of Box Office, staff will perform gift shop duties until closing. Light cleaning duties will be assigned. Occasional heavy lifting.

Box Office Associate (Downtown Canyon, Texas)

$10 per hour

Monday - Saturday

9 AM - 6 PM

Duties include answering phones, ticket purchases/exchanges, providing evening timeline of events and ticket sale policies. Experience with computer software including Word and Microsoft Teams is preferred. Light cleaning duties will be assigned.
