Enjoy an night under the stars helping the TEXAS Outdoor Musical production! Help greet and answer questions, as well as
assisting the Front of House with guest services projects. Afterwards, we invite you to stay and watch the show!
What to expect when you volunteer:
Please wear casual clothing. Western attire is preferred. (e.g., Jeans, Boots, Cowboy hat and western top if available)
You will need to check out a temporary volunteer ID badge at the box office at 5:30 PM.
You will have free entrance into Palo Duro State Park after 4:00 PM on the day you're scheduled.
After parking your car, meet at the main entrance under the big TEXAS arch entryway.
The Front of House Manager will assist in getting you started and answer any questions you may have.
At 8:15 PM, and after everyone has been seated, please check your ID badge back into the box office. Our box office team will issue you a ticket for the show.
West Texas A&M University - Volunteer Policy
Volunteers are a valued part of the WT community; at the same time, they are not employed by the University. Therefore, please ensure anyone who volunteers their services completes the waiver below. This form is to be submitted to Human Resources. In addition, depending on the nature of the volunteer’s services, they may require a background check and/or compliance training. All volunteers should review the Visitor Safety Access Control Program policy. Contact Human Resources for assistance in determining any requirements.
Waiver, Indemnification and Medical Treatment Form
Required Submissions- EVAFs for everyone with the required background check and waiver before they volunteer (this goes for large number of volunteers and groups). If it is a last minute volunteer they will need to fill out a waiver and those will need to be send to hr@wtamu.edu.
